The Best Coach You’ll Have

By Ken Spangenberg 3 years agoNo Comments

A quality coach can certainly teach you where to go on a gap shot, point something out in your swing, or teach you a change up grip, however he will not be the person actually DOING any of these things. You will be. That’s why you will be the best coach you will ever have in this game.

You will be the one putting in the work, day in and day out, in order to improve. We, as coaches, are simply here to help guide you in the right direction.

Take this tweet that became popular last year during the World Series. Alex Bregamn became known at LSU for calling coaches, campus security, and janitors at all times of the night so they could let him in to the cages to hit. So much so that they installed a key card system just so he could get in himself!

I’m certain that Alex had many great coaches in his lifetime, however he understood that at the end of the day, his career was in his own hands.

Don’t wait around for a coach to change your career…it’s your career! We are always here to help, however we are more like a teacher helping you study for the big test. We can help you figure out what/how to study, but you’ll be the one putting in the time and actually taking the test.

Be a student of the game. Ask questions. Put in the work. Take ownership of your career. Be obsessed.
